Helpful Information For Our Patients

At FADC Dental Group, we're always happy to give our patients whatever information they need regarding treatments and how we operate. For your convenience, we've included some general information about our practices below, but should you need any further information, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team.

Dentist Holding Dentures — Bunbury WA — FADC Dental Group
  • Health Funds

We’re participating providers with major health funds like HBF, Bupa, HCF, Medibank and CBHS, which means we’ve negotiated to accept a set fee with each of the Health Funds. As a result, our patients pay a smaller ‘gap’ fee, so ultimately, it’s saving you money.

***Please note that not all surgeries are ‘participating providers’ of Medibank.

Please visit our Health Funds page for more information.

  • Government Subsidies

    Country Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme

All of our three practices are participating providers of the above scheme.

You need to bring your letter from the Health Service Dept. and General Treatment Authority Form when you attend your appointment.

For further information, please go to: www.dental.wa.gov.au or call 08 9313 0660

  • Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) commenced on 1 January 2014 and provided access to benefits for essential dental services to children aged 2-17 years.

The total benefit entitlement capped at $1,000 per child over a two-calendar year. The CDBS has a means test, which requires receiving Family Tax Benefit Part A (FTB-A) or a relevant Australian Government payment.

The CDBS provides individual benefits for a range of services, including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital.

Further information for families on the CDBS is available from the Department of Health Services.

  • Payment Options

At FADC Dental Group, we accept payment on the day via cash, credit cards (Visa and MasterCard), or cheques. For your added convenience, we also have EFTPOS facilities and HICAPS to make insurance claims on the spot. This means you don't have to send your claim through the mail or visit your insurance company in person and will only have to pay the 'gap' fee.

If payment is not received, a 25% administration fee will be added to the bill.

Any costs or legal fees incurred in the collection of outstanding accounts are the responsibility of the account payer. To change or cancel an appointment, you must give us 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments may incur a fee of up to $150.00, depending on the length of appointment/s.

If a patient is under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must sign to indicate consent to treatment.

  • Payment Plans

To facilitate our patients in paying for their dental treatment, we're registered with GE Care Credit, so if you need to budget payments, then this is the solution. If you qualify, you can access a 12-month interest-free period to work your payments into your budget. Just talk to our friendly team today for more information about this excellent service.

Please visit our Payment Plans page for more information.
